hole in one!

For real! I had a hole in one tonight!

It was crazy.We played the back nine tonight at Miller Golf Course in Murray, Kentucky and it was the last night of the Pella golf league. It was almost 8:30 so we could barely see the balls off the teebox, the sprinkler system started going off and it was lightning when weteed off #18. I thought my drive felt good but didn't see it at all. One guy said he thought it went straight, that's about all we knew. We got up there and found three balls and couldn't find mine anywhere. I was so mad that I was going to have to take a penalty and hit another ball. One of the other guys decided to go ahead and putt and he found my ball in the hole.

Everyone kept saying they wished they had seen it and I wish I had too! So about 10 of us went out for drinks to celebrate afterwards. Oh, it was a par 3...I think about 125 yards with a pond in the middle and on the left side. I was dreading that hole because the last time we played it I had 3 penalty shots!
