We became big fans while we lived in Murray and went to many games. It's been a fun year to follow the team (especially since our closer-to-home favorite team (go hawks!) had a pretty sad year. We were able to see the Racers play in January this year when we went back to visit all our Murray friends.
Billy Kennedy is a great coach and a great guy and they deserve all the attention they have gotten this year. Billy's wife Mary is a good friend of mine and their daughter Anna Cate is a friend to Max and Chase. We miss them! Thursday (in case you were living under a rock) Murray State pulled off the big upset over Vanderbilt on a last-second shot and tonight they lost a heartbreaker at the last second to Butler. Proud of you RACERS!
