My new home office...in a closet!

I found myself needing a space to put all my "stuff." I don't like clutter and lately all my stuff has been ending up on the kitchen counters and driving me nuts. Some of my massage books are in the basement, some in our bedroom, paperwork and files in the basement...well you get the picture. I like to be organized and know where everything is. SO.....I starting brainstorming ideas for my new office. We are getting ready to start framing and drywalling the basement so it's going to be a mess down there for awhile. I found some great ideas from other blogs and pictures online and we came up with a plan!

Here is the before picture -- this is our big linen closet upstairs. Boring basic linen closet. It wasn't packed full and by sorting through the bathroom cabinets and donating some seldom-worn clothes, we had plenty of room for all the towels elsewhere.

I wanted a fun and funky little office so the search was on for the perfect colors. Of course I couldn't make up my mind. So I headed to wal-mart and found it -- Grape Gusto!

And here is the after! It's bright, fun, and I LOVE it! I have a few more little things to add or change down the road but it is done for now. What do you think?

So this is my new bill-paying, file-storing, bookcase,  fabric and ribbon storage, massage supply storage and much more!
