Like Father, Like Son

Chase decided he wanted to run a full 5k on Saturday!  We had all signed up for the Gene VanWyk 5k run/walk in Pella and I was just going to walk with the boys.  Chase wanted to run so Chris decided they would run it together.  He did great! He finished in under 50 minutes!  They ran and walked, about half and half.  Here are his official results:

He was officially the youngest finisher!

Not too shabby for a 5 year old, huh??  Thanks to my wonderful husband for running with Chase.  Chris probably could have won or been in the top 2-3 overall but instead got to spend 3.1 miles with his oldest son!
